She is slim and slender, though physically fit with attractive muscle definition. She changes her hair color fairly often, usually varying between blonde and brunette. Her hair is long, falling well past her shoulders. It is usually worn down, though when she works it is usually pulled up. She likes to be comfortable and rarely wears things that are too flashy or girly. Tank tops, jeans and hoodies are her standard. That is not to say that she doesn't dress up, but it is only for special occassions. She has a couple of tattoos, a butterfly on her right arm and a lightning bolt between her shoulderblades. PICTURES       PERSONALITY & BACKGROUND Personality: Vivvy is a strong woman with a corresponding personality and opinions. She is always right and never wrong, and if she is, she has a hard time admitting it. She likes to be in charge and can be bossy. She doesn't have much in the way of social skills. Many a person has been offended by her lack of tact and her reluctance to lie. She has spent a lot of her time in study and holds an IQ of 170. This sometimes makes those who speak with her feel stupid because she doesn't talk on a normal level. She is compassionate and feeling, though she doesn't often let them sway her logical mind. She loves deeply, and cares for her friends and family more than she appears to on the outside. In short, Vivvy takes care of herself. History: Two poor immigrants from Italy, Mario and Monica, made their home in New York City in 1975. Three years later, they had the first of two children. Giovani was the joy of their life. They spoiled him as much as they could afford on their meager salaries. When he was two, the second and last child they would have came along. Vivianna Gianne Rivelli. Her parents were overjoyed. Vivvy and her brother grew up happy and healthy. They went to public schools, and because of the love their parents had for them and their obvious joy over their sucesses, they excelled. They skipped grades and were placed in honor classes. When Giovani hit puberty, he turned into someone Vivvy didn't know. He was angry and volatile. He scared Vivvy. He began to calm down a few years later, but the once close siblings had grown apart. When Vivvy was 14, she began to experience changes that she knew were not associated with puberty. She found that she could suddenly sense how people were feeling. And more than that, she could influence the way people felt. Her life became increasingly easier, but that meant she did not have to practice social skills in order for people to like her or feel good around her. She had quite a few "friends" in school, though they were people who enjoyed her company, she knew nothing about them. When she was a junior in high school her parents disappeared. They simply did not come home from work one night. They were not identified as victims of any recent homocides or auto accidents. They had simply vanished off the face of the earth. Her brother was 18 at the time and became her legal guardian. Vivvy wanted nothing to do with Giovani. They had never repaired their relationship. Giovani could see that he would not be able to take care of his sister without her cooperation. He left her and, consequently, she was thrown into the system. She went through two different foster homes before she turned 18 and was a legal adult. She graduated High School and went on to NYU with the aid of grants and loans. She concentrated fully on her studies, becoming a recluse and social outcast. She graduated with a doctorate in meteorology and degrees in biology and astronomy. It was just after graduation that she was sitting in a bar set back off the street. It was a little bit of a shady place, with some shady people getting drunk there. Unknowning, and unsuspecting, street stupid Vivvy stumbled into the place wanting a drink to celebrate her success. She'd heard that that was the thing to do from a fellow graduate. She was there without friends, a lone woman, an easy target. A group of men converged on her and began to harass her. She had taken several self-defense and martial arts classes, but she couldn't take on a group like this. She had only just started to try calming them with her powers, but she didn't think she could do it in time. It was then that a man who called himself Glacier came to her rescue. His touch seemed to freeze them where they stood and he pulled her from their midst. He bought her a drink and sat down with her to talk. He found her humerous and honest and she found his and his friend's ship intriguing. He also explained to her what she was, and what he was. A mutant. It was not long before he offered her a place on his ship. The opportunity was too good to pass up. She would be in the air most of the time where she could continue her studies, and she could get paid for it. She accpeted his offer and has been with the King's Ransom ever since. In her time on the ship she has developed a way to harvest lightning and sell it as electricity to the big companies. Glacier has also helped her to hone her "gift". She has been an asset to the ship and as such, Glacier made her second-in-command. She has had no word from her parents, and hasn't seen her brother in 10 years. OTHER INFORMATION Powers: She has the power to control the emotions and feelings of others through the release of pheramones along with the ability to sense how others are feeling, though she cannot read thoughts.
